The Pleasanton Senior Community continues to be enriched as a result of the funds raised by the Friends of Pleasanton Senior Center donor tree. This tree is an opportunity to honor those who have used the Center in the past, those currently participating in activities, and those who want to show their support for the Pleasanton Senior Community.
Kristin Jarvis, former Secretary of the board of directors, came up with the idea of the Friends Tree as a piece of artwork for the lobby and as a way for friends to publicly display their support of the Senior Center. Together with board members Janet Burton and Nancy Taylor a committee was formed. A collaborative effort by the Senior Center Woodshop, The City of Pleasanton, the City Sign Shop and many others the construction and installation of the Friends Tree was made possible
You are invited to become a supporter of the Pleasanton Senior Center by taking part in the Friends Tree.
The Tree is prominently displayed at the Senior Center and acknowledges those who have generously offered their support.
